Zorik Gordon

Zorik Gordon is a co-founder, President and Chief Executive Officer of ReachLocal. Previously he was Chief Executive Officer and Vice President Corporate Development for WorldWinner, Inc., the leading provider of prize-based tournaments in online games of skill. At WorldWinner, Mr. Gordon signed major partnerships with Yahoo!, Pogo, Lycos, and Shockwave that positioned WorldWinner as the number one provider of cash tournaments on the Internet, with over 5 million gamers registered as part of the service. Prior to WorldWinner, Mr. Gordon founded Jackpot.com, an Idealab business that has grown to become Connexus Corp., one of the leading online marketing companies.

Alan E. Salzman

Alan E. Salzman comes to the ReachLocal board as Chief Executive Officer and Managing Partner of VantagePoint Venture Partners. Alan has been a Senior or Managing Partner of a dozen venture funds since 1988, with current management responsibilities for close to $5 billion of committed capital and hands-on experience working with and funding more than 250 innovative, entrepreneurial companies. He co-founded VantagePoint in 1996 and oversees all aspects of venture fund management, including organization and investor relations, development and implementation of overall investment strategy, and oversight of investment, divestment and management decisions regarding portfolio companies. Alan is a graduate of the London School of Economics (GC), the University of Toronto (BA), Stanford Law School (JD) and the University of Brussels, Belgium (LLM). He also held a faculty appointment for more than a decade as an Adjunct Professor for Venture Capital and Entrepreneurial Companies at Stanford Law School. He currently advises BP on renewable energy policies and investments as one of two outside members of the BP Alternative Energy Advisory Board.

David Carlick

David Carlick has been a director of ReachLocal since June 2004 and also serves as director of ReachLocal Australia. Mr. Carlick’s deep roots in the media and advertising industry led him to co-found DoubleClick advertising network when he was Executive Vice President at Poppe Tyson – a subsidiary of Bozell (BJK&E) that acquired his company, Carlick Advertising and Database Marketing. DoubleClick was ultimately acquired by Google. He also co-founded the Internet group, poppe.com, which was later spun off and merged with Modem Media, going public in 1998 as Modem Media Poppe Tyson; the company was acquired later by Digitas. Currently, Mr. Carlick is Independent Director of TouchTunes, Grocery Shopping Network and Unbound Technologies. Previously he was a founding director of International Network Services, which went public in 1997 and was acquired by Lucent Technologies in 1999 for over $3 billion. He also served as Independent Director for Ask Jeeves from August 2001 through its sale to IAC in 2005 for over $3 billion. Most recently, Mr. Carlick served as Managing Director at VantagePoint Venture Partners from January 1998 through December 2008, where he helped the firm invest in a number of interactive media companies, including ReachLocal and Intermix Media (parent of MySpace), where he was board chairman and director.

Habib Kairouz

Habib Kairouz serves on the ReachLocal board as a Managing Partner of Rho Capital Partners, Inc., a New York based private equity firm with over $2 billion under management. He is also a General Partner in Rho Ventures, the direct venture capital arm of Rho, focusing on early stage and growth investments in new media, information technology, telecommunication, alternative energy and healthcare companies. Additionally, Mr. Kairouz is a member of the Investment Committees of Rho Fund Investors, a global, diversified, private equity fund of funds as well as Rho Canada, an early stage venture capital fund focusing on companies in Canada. He has previously represented Rho Ventures on the boards of a number of portfolio companies that achieved successful liquidity events such as Answersoft (sold to Davox), iVillage (sold to NBC), Tripod (sold to Lycos), Tacoda (sold to Time Warner) and Yantra (sold to AT&T). Mr. Kairouz currently sits on the boards of Innerwireless, Intralinks, ReachLocal, Travel Ad Network, Verified Person and Waterfront Media. Prior to joining Rho in 1993, Mr. Kairouz worked for five years in investment banking and leveraged buyouts with Reich & Co. and Jesup & Lamont. He received a B.S. in Engineering and a B.A. in Economics from Cornell University and an MBA in Finance from Columbia University.

James Geiger

James Geiger has been the Chairman of Cbeyond (NASDAQ: CBEY), President and Chief Executive Officer since he founded the company in 1999. Cbeyond is the voice and broadband Internet provider built exclusively to serve small businesses by delivering "big business" communications services to small business customers at prices they can afford and that Cbeyond can deliver profitably. Prior to founding Cbeyond, he was Senior Vice President and Chief Marketing Officer of Intermedia Communications. Mr. Geiger was also in charge of Digex, Intermedia's complex web-hosting organization, since acquisition and until just prior to its carve-out IPO. Before he joined Intermedia, Mr. Geiger was a founding principal and CEO of FiberNet, a metropolitan area network provider, which was sold to Intermedia in 1996. In the 1980s,he held various sales and marketing management positions at Frontier Communications, Inc. Mr. Geiger began his career at Price Waterhouse (now PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP) and received a bachelor's degree in accounting and pre-law from Clarkson University. In addition, Mr. Geiger serves on the board of directors of the Marist School, an independent Catholic School of the Marist Fathers and Brothers, the Hands On Network, a national volunteer organization that promotes civic engagement in communities.

Jason Whitt

Jason Whitt joins the ReachLocal board from VantagePoint Venture Partners. Jason's areas of expertise include digital media/Internet, software & services and consumer-oriented technology investments. His experience includes management positions in business development, marketing, and engineering in multiple technology sectors. Prior to VantagePoint, he was responsible for acquisitions, venture investing, and corporate strategy for Cisco Systems’ Corporate Development group, where he led numerous transactions involving communications, wireless, Internet, and consumer technology companies. Before Cisco, Jason served in product management for Xros (acquired by Nortel Networks), and was part of the founding employee team of Transvascular (acquired by Medtronic). Named on 16 patents for his design work, Jason is a Kauffman Fellow and graduate of Stanford University (BS, MBA).

Robert Dykes

Robert Dykes is Senior Vice President & Chief Financial Officer of VeriFone, Inc. (NYSE: PAY). VeriFone is the global leader in secure electronic payment solutions by providing expertise, solutions and services that add value to the point of sale with merchant-operated, consumer-facing and self-service payment systems. He joined VeriFone in September 2008, bringing 30 years of financial and operational management experience in public and private companies, including a deep knowledge and experience with complex international supply chains. From 2007 until joining VeriFone, Mr. Dykes was Chairman and CEO of NebuAd Inc., a provider of targeted online advertising networks. From 2005 to 2007, he was Executive Vice President, Business Operations and Chief Financial Officer of Juniper Networks, Inc., a provider of network infrastructure. Mr. Dykes was Chief Financial Officer and President, Systems Group, of Flextronics International Ltd., a provider of design and electronics manufacturing services, from 1997 to 2004. Earlier, he was Executive Vice President, Worldwide Operations and Chief Financial Officer of Symantec Corporation. Mr. Dykes holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Administration from Victoria University, New Zealand.
